Nose: Leather
Taste: First a hint of charcoal and butterscotch with a soft mouthfeel and then the slow reveal of concentrated cacao, followed by a spicy, perfumed finish with the faintest hint of menthol.
Production Details
- Roast: In-ground oven
- Crush: tahona
- Fermentation: Open fermentation in pine tinas
- Distillation: Distilled in copper pot stills, left to steep with macerated Oaxacan cacao for one month, and distilled again with cacao.
