Grulani Mezcal was founded by maestro mezcalero Leo Hernandez and his business partner Victor Moreno. The brand is based in San Baltazar Guelavila.
Grulani is artisanally made, following the same processes and with the same tools that their ancestors used 300 years ago. For more than a century, Grulani has cultivated seven distinct varieties of wild agave which each require unique production and up to three distillations. From cultivation to fermentation, Grulani uses no artificial components, fertilizers or machinery. Just local, mineral-rich spring water when necessary.
