Scorpion Mezcal is produced by Douglas French in Oaxaca, Mexico. It is known for having a scorpion in its bottles. French has been growing varieties of agave on his farm located just outside the city of Oaxaca. He employs mostly women in the production and bottling process.
In addition to the mezcal, French also crafted one of the first Mexican Whiskeys using local, heirloom corn varieties call Sierra Norte.
