Nose: The aromas are balanced between caramelized pineapple, caramel, and sweet cigar spice that continues to open up as it sits in the glass.
Taste: Flavors of juicy pineapple with a caramelized crust remain fresh while integrating with notes of caramel, spiced oat cakes, and lightly roasted coffee. There is a gentle hit of spice that adds depth to the overall arc of each sip. The finish is lengthy, with brown sugar, a hint of molasses, and creamy coffee notes. Pair this with cream-based desserts or cheeses for an exceptionally delicious treat.

Background
Tequila Arette is made by the Orendain brothers, whose family legacy in Tequila goes back five generations to the early 1900s. Relaunched in 1986 as an accessible premium tequila, Arette is a passion project with the goal of making delicious and pure tequila from high-quality estate grown agave. The value-driven price point of the brand is in line with the family values of creating something traditional and delicious that can stand on its own without big marketing dollars. The distillery, El LLano, is located in the town of Tequila and features a compact, efficient design. The Clasico line is focused on consistency and produced with autoclave cooking, mechanical milling, open-air fermentation in stainless steel vats with natural wild yeasts, and stainless steel pot stills fitted with copper coils. The Artesanal line is made in smaller batches with cooking in brick ovens, fermentation in concrete tanks, and tighter cuts on distillation. Aged expressions are rested in former bourbon barrels to soften the texture and impart sweet spice and vanilla notes. The result is a line-up of clean tequilas that celebrate the flavor of agave and the long legacy of traditional spirit making of the family and region.
