Nose: The aromas are layered with dried orchard fruits, cocoa powder, caramel, and crème brûlée.
Taste: The flavors are intense yet refined, with notes of pineapple upside down cake, creamy coffee, and chocolate-covered orange peel. The spiciness and pepperiness balance the sweetness from the barrel. The texture is round and fills the mouth, each sip making the mouth water in anticipation for the next one. A fine sipping tequila to be enjoyed as dessert or a nightcap.

Background
Tequila Ocho launched in 2008 as a partnership by renowned distiller Carlos Camarena and international tequila ambassador Tomas Estes. The brand was terroir-focused from the start, and was the first to bottle spirits made from agaves that came from hyper-specific plots of land, along with identifying information on the labels. The brand is known for tiny batches that come from single plots of estate-grown agave and aged expressions that prioritize the agave flavor over barrel influence. A tequila brand made by and for agave nerds–their limited edition bottlings are unique and sell out fast.
