Why mezcal, why now?
I know, you wake up daily pondering that question and it’s the one that sees you off at night. The good news is that I’m here to help. I won’t be alone, Wahaka’s Raza Zaidi is speaking on the provocatively titled topic of “Mezcal: Boom to Bust?” while Tosba’s Elisandro Gonzalez will be talking about his brand and Dr. Blake Simmons will be discussing agave’s use as biofuel. See, it’s educational but we wouldn’t want this to be all work so some of San Francisco’s most prominent mezcal mixologists will be doing demonstrations which you’ll be able to sample.
