San Miguel now has an annual mezcal walk–interested drinkers can visit five bars, drink bespoke mezcal cocktails, while learning about types of agave, production processes, and the history of mezcal. Meanwhile Casa Murciélago hosts tastings and educational workshops with producers, brand owners, and other luminaries of the mezcal world.

- Bar Atzintli – From Casa Agave, the bar features Guanajuato mezcal and tequila, as well as cocktails.
- Gixi Mezcaleria – Caters to a younger crowd and regularly features guest mixologists.
- Artlali – This San Miguel mezcaleria fosters a party vibe with live music and visiting DJs.
- Coyote Fuego – This mezcal bar has indoor and outdoor seating, and offer cocktails made with their eponymous house brand mezcal. They also host formal tastings.
- Icavi Instituto Cultural del Agave y el Vino offers courses and workshops on tequila and mezcal, as well as tastings.
